Sophie joined the CHWR team in January 2025. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education: Human Development and Family Science and a minor in English. Her research interests include aging, wellness, and memory care.  

Current Projects: Advancing Insights into Moral Injury: Research and Care Practices, ACCESS to Healthy Aging 

In her free time, Sophie enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, walking her dog Shadow, and reading.
