Richard joined the CHWR team in 2021 and serves as a Go NAPSACC Implementation Advisor and Physical Activity Consultant.  Richard received his Master of Physical Education Teacher Education from West Virginia University and pursued doctoral studies at the University of South Carolina in the areas of motor development and motor learning.  For the last 15 years, has served as the director of Be Active Kids®, an award winning state-wide early childhood health program.   

Current Projects: Go NAPSACC, Go NAPSACC Social Emotional Module Development, Build the Skills with Be Active Kids, Go NAPSACC Motor Skills Module Development 

Rich enjoys anything outdoors with friends and families, camping, hiking, fishing, watching sporting events, and playing sports.
