Bishoy Yacoub joined the CHWR Team in January 2024 as a research assistant. After graduating with a degree in Sociology and Public Health, Bishoy will be pursuing his M.D. at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. After personally losing over 100 lbs, he has conducted public health and public policy research under the guidance of Principal Investigators from the World Health Organization, NIDDK at NYU Langone, NIH at CUNY, and Williams College. He is passionate about making nutritious foods and health education accessible to underserved communities.
