Leslie deRosset, MSPH, MPH
Quality Improvement Consultant
Leslie joined the CHWR Team in 2025 and serves as Go NAPSACC’s Quality Improvement Consultant. She holds a MSPH in maternal and child health from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health and an MPH from the University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health. She has been working in various public health roles for more than 22 years.
In addition to her work with Go NAPSACC, Leslie works in the MCH Department in the SPH with the National MCH Workforce Development Center and The Beacon Center. She is an adjunct instructor in the MCH Department as well as with the Gillings School of Global Public Health, where she teachers a Systems Thinking and Design Thinking course for graduate students (MPH Online).

In her roles, Leslie provides technical assistance, consultation, coaching, capacity building, and training to public health leaders.
Leslie is an expert in program development, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of results. Her work focuses on addressing the root causes and disparities that result in inequities in maternal and child health.
Prior to joining UNC in 2018, Leslie worked as the Program Manager for The Improving Community Outcomes for Maternal and Child Health with the North Carolina Division of Public Health. She has worked in the non-profit sector as the Health Director for El Centro Hispano, the Latino Campaign Coordinator with the NC March of Dimes Preconception Health Campaign, and as a Peace Corps Volunteer (Leon, Nicaragua, 1998 – 2000).
In her free time, Leslie enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends and doing improv and theatre.
